Waddling Words - My first book. A labor of love. An ode to my Fire Bird. An attempt to do my bit, for animals, for I love them all so much. It is out.
It is my tribute to my beloved horse Jasmine Sky who passed in the end of 2021. I dint know how else to grieve her loss. So I drowned myself in this crazy idea, which popped up, one late noon on a Saturday, 15 days after she had crossed the rainbow bridge. Hope you welcome us with open arms & hearts 💕
It is collection of my poems, written over time.There are illustrations too by an amazing human, Rajnik. Then there pages to ponder. You get hold of it, sit with hot cuppa or an ice choco milkshake & read & ponder & scribble & float away into your own memory if the poems bring up something.
While you are doing that 50% of the proceeds will be accumulating to rescue, rehabilitate, conserve some sweet vulnerable animal out there.

A fun fact:I called the book waddling words because like penguins my first words on paper just waddled. Perfect or not am not sure but penguins look terribly cute waddling. It seemed apt considering how scared & vulnerable I felt baring myself to bones in this manner. But then heart wants what it wants and I for one follow it like a puppy does it’s owner. That’s how this book was born - due to an alchemy of loss, grief, longing, fear, adventure.
